My little gentleman

What was a routine trip to Walmart, turned into a "proud Mommy" moment. As I was loading the kids into the van, Michael said he wanted to stay outside with me. I told him he should go ahead and get into the warm van while I loaded up the bags. No. He wanted to close my door for me. So, I went ahead and loaded the van and climbed in. Sure enough, he shut my door for me and then got in the side door. On the way home, I couldn't help feeling so proud of "my little gentleman". Then I realized, he's just doing what he sees his Daddy do. After almost 10 years, Chris stills gets all the doors for me...all the time...everywhere. Even in pouring rain....even after unloading three kids everytime. Thanks Chris, for treating me so special AND for being a good example to Michael!
The picture was taken Easter Sunday in Eden Park, just four days before Caleb arrived!

Wow- I'm impressed!! Those moments do make you feel like you are doing things right! (I'm also impressed with your figure 4 days before delivery! :-))

That's great! Philip still opens my door, although not usually in the rain. We just make a run for it:-) What a great example to our sons!

What a sweet gesture, and I love the picture of you two.
I also love your profile photo. There is hardly anything more beautiful than a mother and her baby.

Adorable! I miss the days when my boys wanted to marry me. Now they try to convince their sister that she can't marry me because there would be moral implications. :) I explained to them that she'll figure it out pretty soon without needing to know "why"!
I have been enjoying your blog.
Glad to know you're doing well!
