See y'all later......

June 20th is our 10th anniversary, so we've decided to get
away for a few days. I'm still not sure about this....leaving the kids
for 5 days. My parents have graciously accepted responsibility
for the duration. However, I've NEVER been away from the kids other
than hospital stays....which required frequent visits. I'm sure
they will be ok....but........

I'm leaving only a few hints. Suitcases,

Airlines tickets

and Passports. I promise lots of
pictures upon my return. Till then......enjoy the US for me!

I hope you have a wonderful time. Deanna and I have already been scheming and we think that Philip must take me to Ireland for our 10th anniversary. We'll see... we have 2 years to get ready and save, save, save, save, save... you get the picture I'm sure! Happy Anniversary!

I know where you're going!!! I've been there before, so the "port of exit" gave it away a little!!.. and of course the hint from Mr. Plank confirmed my suspicions! It's a gorgeous place, and I just know that you'll have a wonderful time!!!

Have a great trip. You both deserve it, especially you Nancy- for putting up w/ my brother for 10 years. =)jk

We share the same anniversary, Nancy! However, on my ninth, I think the only place I get to go is the laundry room. :p

I'm thinking...maybe a position at GBS would give my husband and I the $ to take a wonderful 10th anniversary trip! Just kidding...ya'll have fun and don't worry about those kids! I think one thing that keeps couples from having great times of rest and communication is failure to leave the kids. Don't feel guilty. You're a great mommy, and they're in good hands.

How exciting!!! I'm not into leaving my kids either, God gave them to me for ME to raise, but I'm sure once in a while they will be fine. :-) Hope you have a wonderful trip, I'm sure you will!! Can't wait to see pics!
