Happy, Busy Monday

This was my
van load at 9:30 this morning, heading for...

Pride Park in Taylor Mills, KY. They have three different
playgrounds and lots of trails.

The ages I had were 6, 5, 4, 3, and 1......
I was babysitting today....
filling in for a friend who's on vacation.
We had lots of fun and plenty
of laughs!

Lauren enjoyed this.....
while the boys played here.

Caleb kept me busy....and nervous! He loves to climb
and seemingly knows no fear!

there he goes......

and he ended up just fine!!!!

Saturday we went to Xenia, OH to visit some of my
aunts and also to pick some fresh
strawberries. And are they ever YUMMY!

The kids enjoyed picking and eating them!

Lauren and my aunt Susan.

This reminds me of my Grandpa and Grandma - my dad's old homestead in the state of Deleware. My grandpa had fields of strawberries like this and would let us pick them. You can't buy them in the store like they taste fresh and ripe out of the field! My kids think they don't like strawberries, but I know they would if they had the real thing!

By the way, I'm so sorry I forgot to call you tonight. Plan on us tomorrow. I'll try to remember to call you in the morning.

Ohhh- fresh strawberries rate very high!!! Growing up we had around 5 acres. MMMMany wonderful memories.

You are also a very brave lady with your babysitting trips. :-)

How on earth did you keep track of that many at once?! I'd have gone squirrelly!

Looks like you had a lot of fun! I also know what it is like to have one of those "no fear" children. I guess they will either keep us young, or put us in an early grave! LOL
